Chasing my dreams

Well it was another 2 days of chasing my dreams. I photographed a  part of history at the St Augustine Rookery. This is the first time the Roseate Spoonbills had built nest and laid eggs since the rookery started I believe the late 1970's.. Hatch lings were up and boosty. So adorable. A tear fell the first time one appeared . Their little spoonbills were darling. Feathers a lavender color. Fuzzy and wobbly.

. The tri color chics and woodstorks have amazing, comical exspressions. Cattle egret chicks look so pre historic.
You cannot help but fall in love with these beautiful birds.
Wing spreads and duals are part of their day and I so gladly watch in humor as they duel away.

My dream of a safari is here, yes as close as I can get right now.
My taste for the wild is a day closer.

I keep hoping for that one shot photo that will make National Geographic. Right !
